School Trip Y1-4_Oxford Natural History Museum

November 29, 2016

This half term, the creative learning topic for all the children in KS1 and KS2 will be ‘Dinosaur Planet’. We will be using the topic as a stimulus for much of our Literacy, Art and DT and we will be learning about rocks, fossils and Dinosaurs as part of our Science and History curriculum. We are very excited to announce that to really engage the pupils with our topic, we have booked a trip to the Oxford Museum of Natural History to take part in a workshop investigating dinosaur bones and fossils.

We ask for a contribution of £12 per pupil to cover the cost of the transport by mini-bus and the cost of the workshop, to ensure that the trip can go ahead.

Pupils will all need to bring a packed lunch on the day, in a disposable bag that can be thrown away, as we will be leaving school at 10am. We don’t anticipate arriving back to school until 4pm.

More details will be given nearer the time. Please return the slip and payment by Monday 22nd November.
