Year 1 visit Woburn Safari Park

Year 1 had a wonderful time at Woburn Safari Park. We got to see lots of different animals. We even had monkeys jump onto our coach and a female lion walk in front of us! We got to learn lots about different big cats and how they are carnivores which mean they eat meat and have pointy, sharp teeth.

Following the assembly by Miss Hopkinson we decided to collect all our food waste and recycling after lunch at the safari park. The children spoke about the different materials and which ones could be recycled or not recycled.

The children were superbly behaved and are now ready to continue our Paws, Claws and Whiskers topic for this term.
