Crew is a concept of belonging that is broken down into many groups but ultimately, all the children all belong to the Whitehouse Primary Crew.  

All children in Key Stage 1 and 2 Crew daily. Children in Year 1 Crew in their classes to support their confidence in routines and children from Years 2-6 come together daily in their House Crews. 

All crew sessions follow the same structure. Each session begins all children being given the opportunity to ‘check-in’ - an opportunity to be heard as an individual within the collective. Then depending on their social and emotional development, the children will make Stands, Apologies and Appreciations before going on to explore elements from our Crew Curriculum that ensure:  

• Emotional development  

• Social Development  

• Sense of Self  

• Acceptance 

• Success
