Dancing Schools UK – WOW!

What an incredible day at the Dancing Schools UK Competition! We are re-naming it Super Saturday!

The day started with our Year 1&2 team, who were the first team to open the competition. They performed their Waltz with poise, beautiful smiles and impeccable timing! Next was their Polka, again with fantastic timing and full of energy and fun. We were so proud of their performance and they were awarded first place..gold medals and a fabulous Glitterball Trophy!!

We then moved on to our Year 3&4 Team who wowed with their Viennese Waltz again with such beautiful poise impeccable timing and the huge smiles. Next, they wowed us with their energy and sass with a fabulous and fun ChaCha. Another fabulous first place…gold medals and another glitterball!

The afternoon continued with our two Year 5&6 teams. Again we couldn’t have been prouder – fabulous Tango performances and Jive’s with fabulous timing, energy and enthusaism. Everyone had so much fun!

We are super proud as we know that there was a lot of nerves which were overcome and on that stage you all sparkled! A fabulous 2nd place for our Team Green and 3rd place for Team Blue! Two more glitterballs to add to our Trophy cabinet!

All 4 of our teams are now off to the Regional Grand Finals in June to compete at the Derngate Theatre!
