Spotlight on ➡️ Year 1!
Every Monday we will be sharing an update from a different year group across school. We hope you enjoy finding out a little more about what happens behind the school gates!
Year 1 Spotlight update:
It’s been a busy and exciting few weeks in Year 1! The children have been diving into a variety of hands-on activities!
️ Drawing Club – Our young writers have been taking part in Drawing Club lessons, using their creativity to build stories and enhance their writing skills.
Growing and Measuring – In science, the children have been planting vegetable seeds and carefully tracking their growth. They’ve been measuring their plants and learning all about what helps them grow.
Art Printing – In art lessons, Year 1 have been exploring the skill of printing. They’ve experimented with different techniques and created some fantastic patterns and textures.
We’re so proud of all the enthusiasm and effort they’ve been showing. Keep up the great work, Year 1!
