Wiggly worms and freezing ice!

Over the last few weeks, the children have loved exploring the on-going cold weather and the freezing, slippery ice. They have wrapped up warm and investigated the ice floating on top of the water and enjoyed pretending to be Arctic animals sliding on the ice. We have spoken about the season Winter, alongside the importance of wrapping up warm.

In Literacy, we have focused on the book Superworm. This has provided huge engagement and the children have loved hunting for the worms outside, with some children showing fantastic bravery by picking them up and holding them! What a fantastic start to Spring term!
